Crossing the canal

Yashica T5. Gondolas are used not only to show Venetian places of interest to tourists. They can also take you to the other side of the canal. Local people usually stand in a shaky gondola while travelling. A gondolier told me that there could be only one cause of falling into the water — an overdose of grappa, a local strong drink.
